This Privacy Policy explains how Endevr Digital (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit our website, get in touch with us, or use our pay-monthly website service.
We are the data controller for the information described in this policy. We take your privacy seriously and only collect what we need to provide and manage our service.
01. Who we are
Endevr Digital provides all-inclusive, pay-monthly websites for businesses, including design, build, hosting, security and ongoing support. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can contact us at info@endevrdigital.com or on 07546 532 987.
02. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details you give us – such as your name, email address, phone number and the message you send when you use our contact form or get in touch about a plan.
- Business and project information – the content, images, logos and business details you provide so we can build and maintain your website.
- Billing information – the details needed to set up and manage your subscription. Card payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe; we do not collect or store your full card details.
- Records of agreement – when you subscribe, we record that you accepted our Terms and Privacy Policy, including the date and version, so we both have a clear record.
- Technical information – basic information your browser sends automatically, such as your device type and general usage of our website, used to keep the site secure and working properly.
03. How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- respond to your enquiries and provide quotes or information about our plans;
- design, build, host and maintain your website;
- set up and manage your subscription and take recurring monthly payments;
- provide ongoing support, updates and the content edits included in your plan;
- keep our service and your website secure; and
- meet our legal and accounting obligations.
04. Our legal bases
Under UK data protection law, we rely on the following legal bases for using your information:
- Contract – to provide the website service you have signed up for and to take payment.
- Legitimate interests – to respond to enquiries, run and improve our business, and keep our service secure.
- Legal obligation – to keep records we are required to keep, such as for tax and accounting.
- Consent – where you have given it, for example when you contact us via our form. You can withdraw consent at any time.
05. Payments
Monthly subscription payments are processed securely by Stripe, our third-party payment provider. When you pay, your card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe under their own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of payment and limited billing information, but we never see or store your full card number.
06. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run our service, and only as far as needed. These may include:
- our payment processor (Stripe), to take and manage your subscription payments;
- our hosting and infrastructure providers, to host your website and store data securely;
- email and domain providers, to send and receive messages and to register or manage your domain; and
- professional advisers or authorities, where we are required to share information by law.
07. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses only the cookies needed to make it work and to keep it secure. If we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.
08. How long we keep your information
We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it. Enquiry details are kept for a reasonable period so we can follow up. Client and billing records are kept for the duration of your plan and for as long afterwards as we are required to keep them for legal and accounting purposes. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
09. Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information where there is no ongoing reason for us to keep it;
- object to or ask us to restrict how we use your information; and
- ask us to transfer certain information to another provider.
To exercise any of these rights, just contact us using the details on this page and we will respond within the timeframes required by law.
10. Keeping your information secure
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures – such as secure hosting, SSL encryption and access controls – to protect your information against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. While no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.
11. Other websites
Our website and the websites we build may contain links to other sites. This policy does not cover those third-party sites, so we encourage you to read their own privacy policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page, and the “last updated” date above shows when it was most recently changed.
13. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first so we can put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
